Admissions Surgery admission is betweeen 8 - 10 a.m. No food after midnight the night before surgery. Water is permissible. Animals presented for bloodwork other than feline aids, heartworm testing, or feline leukemia testing also must be fasted prior to visit. Most surgery patients will stay overnight as no additional cost.
